MTA Red Line Presentation (6.9 MB)

Rochelle Carpenter and group did a presentation of where future Red Line will go (Edmondson Village down MLk to Pratt) and other various places. It will be a bus route with its own lane. It was very detailed presentation.

Baltimore Health Department Sharps Disposal Presentation (1.6 MB)

Health Dept discussed sharps disposal boxes for needles dropped on street, in parks or school grounds, etc. The need for boxes is determined by the number of 3 11 calls for complaints of needles Other places are rec centers and fire stations Other places mentioned are Mennonite Church, Traci Atkins and Faith Center.

A group from BGE did presentation of work being done in Mount Clare to replace old gas line piping. After new lines are put in, they will go house to house to connect gas line to new. You have a choice to have regulator inside or outside of home.

Patricia Ofori presented request for letter of support for property at 238 S Stricker Stteet. It has much history as a store run by black community. Want to restore it into apartments and a cooking school. It wll cost $1.1 million to restore the building.
