Intro Question - what do you want your neighborhood to do for you and what can you do for your neighborhood this year?
We’re giving someone something special for everything they’ve done in the neighborhood! In addition, BCF is also doing a neighborhood spotlight that everyone should nominate someone for!
Event Planning
- Schedule second half of 2026 dumpster days
- Mia suggested a stuff swap day. Would be in July at the earliest.
- Melanie - trash can recovery day, where we find the big clumps of trash cans that accumulate in some parts of MC and redistribute them to neighbors who need one.
- UMB has a housing fair on 6/9 (its a Tuesday) at the CEC and wants a neighborhood representative to table if anyone is available and interested.
- Safe City Baltimore wants to hold a Family Preparedness and Know Your Rights workshop.
- Nancy asks for a community cookout - do we have a grill? Could do an outdoor meeting at Traci Atkins? A cookout style meeting would go from 5-8 with the formal meeting from 6-7.
