Daniella Butler paints murals and talked about painting them at Traci Atkins Park on the retaining walls and the rubber ground at the playground. Needs to get grant of at least $50,000 added to grant.

MOED was no show.
Cameron Regal spoke of the tree planting. Ask who needs a tree – there are 16 varieties of trees to choose from. They look for volunteers to help with planting. They are paid for working with a gift card. Trees are cared for the first year by MOED. Elizabeth asks, no fruit bearing trees are planted. Asked if they would water our planters of flowers. They do not plant trees in the street. Will do canvassing from 3-5, dates to be determined. Trees will only be planted during daylight hours. Will check utilities for tree depth. Daniella hasconcerns about pollens. Mia how can neighbors help take care of trees, tree keepers, BWB does watering.Only in city right of way, streets have utilities, planted bed on top of street bioswales is with Patrick, separate division. Replaces trees if they die in the first year.
Maria - Dept. of Planning discussed the Mount Clare Junction Plan for mixed use.
Lisa Rawlings from CEC discussed the necessity for blood Call Red Cross to give blood. You will receive a gift card for your donation. She posted a link to find out information.
Discussion of alley gates – they will begin installation this month. Also discussed parking on certain streets. Many in favor of back in parking . Makes more room for parking.
There will be a walk through to document where cleaning should be done. Much trash in alleys and street.
Meghan discussed vacant houses – there are many and people living in them that should not. The City has a map of vacants and those that should be torn down.
1300 block of Ramsay turned out to discuss street planning, wants to remain two way and not have speed bumps.
Hawaiian bingo is Sept 11 at 6 pm. $15 includes cards and food.
Our account at Rosedale transferred to new account at Capital One. Only left a small amount in account for now. July balance $26,697
